HRSG Engaged to Develop a Comprehensive Online Assessment Tool for Internationally Educated IT Professionals

HRSG was recently awarded a contract with the Information and Communications Technology Council to develop an Online Self-Assessment tool for Internationally Educated Professionals (IEP). This on-line test will allow IEPs both in Canada and around the world to match their skills to the requirements of Canada's ICT employers. IEPs will have a clearer understanding of their rediness to work in the Canadian market and Canadian employers will have a greater comfort level with the skills of the IEPS as they can map the assessed skills against the Canadian standard.
Using HRSG’s flagship talent management software, i-SkillSuite, as the basis for the online tool, we will be developing customized tests targeting Essential Skills (ES), Cultural Competencies, Technical Competencies, Business Competencies and Language. The project, which will run until January of 2010, will include a pilot of the tools in Canada and overseas.
