She is also a sought-after speaker and facilitator.

In 2012, she was awarded the 2012 Business Woman of the Year Award by the Women’s Business Network.

Lorraine McKay

SVP Professional Services

Lorraine has over 30 years of experience as an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist and Human Resource Professional.  She is particularly well known for her extensive experience in developing competency-based HR programs and tools used in recruitment, assessment, human resource planning and career development.

Lorraine has been instrumental in building HRSG’s competency management methodology, certification program, libraries and tools.  She continues to be a thought leader in developing pragmatic and effective competency approaches.

Christine Lamothe

Senior HR Consultant and Director of Business Development

Christine is recognized as one of North America’s foremost experts in Competency Based Management and has developed hundreds of competency profiles and assessment tools for clients in both the private and public sector for various business roles. Christine has pioneered and has been active in the CBM field for the last 25 years. She has managed and supported numerous organizations as well as whole occupational groups in defining competency frameworks and in developing and implementing competency-based management solutions.

Glen Budgell

Senior Strategic Advisor

Glen Budgell has over twenty years of experience managing the promotion, development and delivery of consulting services in the area of assessment and testing. Utilizing his strong leadership and implementation skills, he has worked with organizations to transform corporate vision and strategy into a profitable business.

Glen is recognized nationally and internationally as an expert in developing innovative assessment programs for personnel selection, recruitment, training, licensure and certification. He actively conducts research on assessment methods and has contributed to the development of several documents on professional testing standards.

Ian Wayne

Director of Products

As Director of Products, Ian is responsible for the development and delivery of HRSG’s software products, acting as product strategist, evangelist, and client advocate.

With a background in organizational psychology and technology, Ian brings a unique blend of expertise to the field of HR software development. His consulting work includes projects designed to help clients support expansion and manage change through the development and deployment of customized competency modelling solutions.

In his current role, he leverages his consulting experience to ensure HRSG’s technologies empower both the organization and the individual to realize their true potential.

Paul Skinner

Chief, Technical Services

Paul has 15 years of experience in IT as a senior programmer, primary developer, and analyst for the public and private sector. He has extensive expertise in web protocol and application interfaces including HTML, ASP, SQL Programming, Microsoft SQL Server, TCP/IP, ActiveX, OLE, DAO/ADO/SQL, COM, ASP, PHP, MySQL, and Oracle.

Paul has led the development of HRSG’s CompetencyCore software since its inception.

Sheyna Sorensen


Sheyna is an accounting professional with over 20 years of experience in both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.

She began her career as an accountant for Sierra Systems, and has more recently held controllerships in a wide range of businesses, managing all aspects of accounting and finance functions in addition to taking overall responsibility for financial reporting, auditing, planning and budgeting, and developing systems of internal controls.

As Controller for HRSG, Sheyna manages strategic planning and resourcing and operational review.
