Suzanne is the Founder and CEO of Human Resource Systems Group, a firm she founded in 1989 to help clients implement a systems approach to managing talent. As the leader of HRSG, Suzanne works tirelessly to build an organization that encourages innovation and excellence. She is recognized as a thought leader in the field of competency-based management and is a sought after speaker internationally. In 2012 she was awarded the Business Woman of the Year Award by the Women’s Business Network, and in 2018 she won both the Sara Kirke Award and an Enterprising Women of the Year Award.
If Suzanne hadn’t started HRSG she would be devoting more time to her love of horses and her work with the Cambrian Equestrian Centre. Suzanne has had an interest in horses from a young age, and enjoys working with and sponsoring young riders to help them hone their skills. Lorraine is an inspiring business leader with a track record in developing new markets. As a cofounder of HRSG, Lorraine has been instrumental in building HRSG’s competency management methodology, training programs, libraries, and tools. She believes in the power of competencies as decision making tools for businesses, and aims to continue helping those with complex challenges achieve their goals.
If Lorraine wasn’t busy developing competency-based HR programs, she would be spending more time sailing and perfecting her figure skating steps.

Mario is an experienced financial executive with a track record in supporting some of Ottawa’s most exciting and talented organizations. He joined HRSG so he could continue to use his skills to support an organization’s most important asset, its employees. He believes in the power of competencies to determine how each person can best contribute to an organization’s goals, and vice versa.
Mario enjoys staying active by cycling and cross-country skiing. If not for his passion for accounting, he would be spending time exploring medieval castles.
If Mario was a superhero? He’d never lose his keys again with the power to instantly find missing objects.
Paul is an innovative IT leader with over 15 years of experience developing competency-based talent management applications. Paul has been the driving technical force and mastermind behind HRSG’s CompetencyCore, a competency-based talent management platform. He continues to lead the team to develop new and ground-breaking products and solutions.
Although tech-savvy enough to build an IT system from scratch, if Paul wasn’t working at HRSG, he’d be spending time in the country without a computer in sight. For fun, he enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending time with his kids.
If Paul had the power to turn invisible, fishing and hunting would be a breeze.
With a background in organizational psychology and technology, Ian brings a unique blend of expertise to the field of HR software development. As the Chief Product Officer, he enjoys leading a team of committed individuals to achieve wildly ambitious goals. He loves being able to see his creative visions for product solutions come to life.
If Ian wasn’t lending his creative talents to HRSG, he would be enjoying life in Buenos Aires and working on his Spanish. Ian also enjoys writing, and has an interest in being an author.

Glen is an internationally recognized HR advisor with over thirty years of experience in assessment and testing. He works tirelessly to apply his knowledge and experience to help organizations improve performance and achieve goals. Glen enjoys working with organizations to transform corporate vision and strategy into a profitable business.
Glen is a competitive Masters level cyclist, and enjoys pushing himself in time trials and road racing. In the future, Glen wants to live and cycle in sunny countries worldwide. He has already spent time cycling in Europe and the United States; next up is Australia and New Zealand!

Chris is a driven sales expert, and is proud to have the privilege to lead a sales team of highly innovative individuals at HRSG. He joined HRSG to help empower employees at organizations worldwide and is optimistic about the future of using competencies to support entire organizations.
Part of what Chris enjoys so much about his job is helping employees feel empowered and achieve their dreams. If he wasn’t working for HRSG, Chris would be fulfilling his own childhood dream of being a forest ranger. In his free time he enjoys getting out of the city to do some hiking or biking.
If Chris had the power to, he’d use teleportation to beat traffic and escape to the country in no time at all.
Sarah is an accomplished marketing professional who has taken HRSG’s marketing department from one person to a team of energized marketing specialists committed to evangelizing the power of competencies to the world. The marketing team is focused on building innovative marketing strategies and programs. Under Sarah’s direction, they will continue to support HRSG’s growth and promote competencies as the universal unit of talent.
Sarah started at HRSG 12 years ago, but if she hadn’t she would have likely gone back to school for a Master’s degree in International Transportation and taken the airline industry by storm. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids.

Christine is recognized as one of North America’s foremost experts and a pioneer in competency-based management. Over the past 25 years she has developed hundreds of competency profiles and assessment tools for clients in both the private and public sector. She joined HRSG to support numerous organizations through the clarifying power of competencies.
Christine is committed to empowering those around her. She loves volunteering, and wishes she had more time to dedicate to women’s shelters and services. In her free time she enjoys to paint and garden.
If Christine had the power to, she would be the ultimate diplomat with the ability to instantly resolve conflicts.
Aida is a seasoned HR talent management professional with over 10 years’ experience managing a variety of human capital projects from inception to execution. With her strong background in testing and assessment, Aida is especially adept at ensuring that our competency-based solutions are assessed in an appropriate, fair and objective way.
Some of Aida’s best memories working at HRSG include building strong relationships with clients not just as a consultant, but as a trusted partner. Her passion is using her talents in helping clients solve complex problems in innovative ways. In her free time, Aida loves to travel and explore places off the beaten path.

Suzanne Massie is a skilled HR professional with over 20 years of experience focusing primarily on competency development, analysis, and assessment. Through HRSG she has had the opportunity to direct the development of national competency-based assessment programs in Canada. She loves working with people from a wide range of professions to use competencies to empower individuals and organizations.
Suzanne is so passionate about her work with HRSG that she can’t imagine what she’d do if she wasn’t working with us! In her free time Suzanne enjoys a variety of hobbies, including hiking, yoga, and travelling. She also isn’t afraid to get creative, and enjoys experimenting in the kitchen and watching independent films.

Andrea is a highly motivated senior consultant with a background in competency development and research design. She wanted to make a difference in the talent management field, so she joined HRSG first as a research analyst and consultant, and now as a director. Andrea is committed to using her skills to deliver diverse and impactful competency solutions.
With a Ph.D. in Applied Social Psychology, Andrea believes in the power of competencies to create a common language among organizations worldwide. Looking ahead, Andrea dreams of travelling the world and taking time to cheer on her favorite baseball team, the Bluejays.
